The floor just loves me!! If I were to write a letter to the floor, it would go something to this effect:
"Dear Floor, I know how much you love me. But once in awhile, would you please try to separate yourself from my face? Especially in public. People always give the oddest looks when we're together. Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate you, and I don't know where I would be without you!! I just think we should try...separating a little bit. And please tell your friend Gravity.. to lay off. He seems intent on putting us together. But I already like you, so it's okay. =). Thaaaaaaanks. Love, Me"
Back to the original topic... the topic being ridiculous injuries. Just recently, I got this HUGE scar across my leg from falling UP the DOWN escalator. Is this normal? Should I be concerned??
Bwahaha, okay, story time. So I went to a Spring Formal awhile ago, danced all night in heels, and had NO PROBLEM. Next morning, I was getting ready to go to a friend's house for her birthday. As I was walking down the stairs... BAM. Fell half way down and almost put my head through the glass door. That, my friends, takes serious skill. My ankle was twisted, but other than that, I had no serious injuries. Oh, but I am not done yet with this story of epic-ness. Ooooooh no. S owe (my brother's and I) arrived at our friend's house, and had a splendiferous time, right? Okay, glad you're following. Later that lovely evening, I went outside to retrieve the birthday present- mind you, it was evening. Thus, DARK. As I opened the door to come back in, something went incredibly wrong, and I fell through the doorway, spilling the presents eeeeeeverywhere! ON TOP OF THAT, just as I opened the door, my brother shouted "Don't trip!!" to someone else entirely!! Needless to say.. we were in hysterics. Hysteria on MY part being that I had further twisted my ankle. Did I mention that that was the DAY before tech week for my play?? That aside, I still find that incredibly funny!
Other interesting injuries.... let's seeeeee... I jammed my finger in volleyball today trying to set out of the net... I guess that's pretty typical. Is it typical that my ring finger is now twice it's normal size and on odd purpley-blackish color? Hmm... Bwahaha, earlier in the season, I got a scar on my face- extending from above my cheekbone almost to my jaw line- from falling down some bleachers between volleyball games. That got me attention fort he next couple weeks. I think you can STILL see it, a little bit.. if you're looking for it. I got carpet burn on my elbows from falling off of the stage during one rehearsal... The list goes on. I think you get the idea. Gravity just loves me for no apparent reason. ;)

<<-- That's a picture one of my amazing-photography-minded friends took after one of my encounters with the ground. Notice, if you look closely, my wrapped ankle; this was taken about two days after the above-related story. =)

Wow, I read this not knowing whether to laugh or flinch. Very funny, sorry about the ankle though! Great picture, lol.
For me, it's not gravity so much as tripping over things and whoops!...whoa...oh! almost! falling. XD Or bumping into upright objects such as doors, walls, people...
